Exercise equipment for your home gym

You do not need to pay for a gym membership to get a good workout. Now a days, there are so many ways you can get an effective workout at home; from virtual exercise classes, free workout videos, written exercise plans or equipment you can purchase for your home gym.

Your home gym depends on your goals, budget and space. Here are my top 5 choices that I have in my own home gym:

Bowflex Adjustable Dumbbells

Having dumbbells of varying sizes is important to slowly progress your strength gains.

For the price, you get two dumbbells that range from 5 to 52.5lbs. Have just two dumbbells is a cost effective, space saving option.

Yoga Bundle

If you don't have any equipment, a great place to start is a non slip mat that provides cushion. Bonus, this bundle includes towels, a knee pad to give you more cushion, yoga strap to help with flexibility, yoga blocks to get assist you into getting your poses and a strap to carry your mat with you on the go!

Letsfit Resistance Tubes

Resistance tubes are a great way to increase intensity and variety to your exercises. Bonus: they don't take up much room. Perfect for small spaces, and for taking on vacation.

CAP Power Rack

If you have the space, and ceiling height, a power rack is a great investment. You can pair it with a barbell to make significant gains in exercises such as squats, deadlifts, bent over rows and chest press (to name a few!) This is also an affordable, durable option from a name brand.

Foam Roller

A foam roller is a great tool in helping you massage and stretch your muscles after a workout. These rollers come in varying sizes and colors at an affordable price point.

Your home gym does not need to take up a lot of space or cost a lot of money. A few key pieces can really enhance your program.

Until next time,

Adrienne
